Top quality specifications
TopTeam helps you to make top quality specifications
Specifications of your product are drawn up by all sorts of stakeholders and disciplines. They include not only different types of requirements, but also descriptions of your product, use cases, risk analyses, supporting documents, work packages, test results, and much more, with the necessary interrelationships.
TopTeam Functionality
TopTeam includes a large amount of information elements out-of-the-box. If necessary, you can instantly adjust the data model, including attibutes. You can determine what should be available for each project.
Making this available also means that the editors you have involved are automatically activated. TopTeam supports both the final delivery of specifications and the steering with related “work packages” or “backlog items”.
This creates an integral “workbench” in which all your team members can capture, find and improve information and work together towards the desired end result.
Within your project different roles exist. Initially, all team members have basic read access to all the information in the project. With extensive search and filtering options, you can enable everyone to easily search for the information they want. Depending on the role that you assign, you can set permissions that determine what information can be changed. TopTeam functionalities that are irrelevant to a particular group can be made invisible to them, based on profiles. Not everyone is a specialist, but people on the periphery of the project can also access and disclose information via the TopTeam Web App. Where necessary, you can involve these people to carry out reviews and provide feedback. Dashboards display the progress of the project numerically and graphically. From there, you can easily click through to the details.
When developing excellent systems, good quality specifications are a prerequisite. You only want to forward information in the chain when you feel good about the quality of your specifications. In TopTeam this is perfectly supported by defining life cycles in record types, project and record type-specific reports and by defining review procedures. Depending on the current status of a record, the recording of information can be enforced. By means of powerful reports that, for example, identify where essential information is missing and by sending review packages from TopTeam, you involve stakeholders and you can inform people, both solicited and unsolicited, about the status and progress of specifications through all kinds of collaboration functionality.
TopTeam provides insight into all kinds of information. In addition, you can subscribe to changes and TopTeam will automatically send notifications. Also, when we have finished some of the work, we can send it out for review so that we can quickly process the feedback again.
